Henry Architects is a full service architectural firm with over 60 years combined experience in the diverse fields of architecture, planning, interiors and sustainable design.

We bring regional and sustainable design to residential projects, municipal facilities, commercial spaces, and educational institutions. Our team is passionate about the design, function and long-term viability of buildings, their positive effect on people and the environment, and about creating a ‘sense of place’ in each of our projects. Practical sustainability and energy-conscious design are at the forefront of our work. We live and work in Taos, and are uniquely situated to address the specific needs of the Town and the Taos community.

David brings a broad range of professional skills to each of his projects stemming from his wide interest in the process of design and construction.  He typically takes projects from conception through to completion with an intense focus on achieving the project vision and meeting the needs of the building’s users.  David's strength lies in the focus and attention to detail required to complete projects.  He has a unique understanding of passive solar design and low-impact architecture. David is a 4th generation New Mexican and has over 35 years of experience in the field of architecture. He is an active member of the NM Solar Energy Association, and numerous community groups.   David focuses on overall project management from Preliminary Design through Construction Administration and Project Closeout.
